Who We Fund
We partner with organizations that demonstrate a strong commitment to the health, well-being, and future of our community. To be considered for a SYCF grant, an organization must exhibit the following four characteristics:
- Non-Profit Status: Official recognition by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
- Active Leadership: A dedicated and active Board of Directors.
- Financial Integrity: A proven record of sound financial management.
- Proven Capability: A demonstrated ability to successfully carry out and manage the proposed project.
(Please note: SYCF grants are awarded exclusively to organizations. No grants are made directly to individuals.)
Apply Year-Round
Community needs don’t wait for a deadline, which is why our grant application is open year-round. Our all-volunteer Board of Directors reviews new grant applications on the 3rd Monday of each month.
